Shaw’s managed network isn’t similar to low-cost, internet-based services. Internet-based networks take your voice signal across unmanaged networks which can produce poor sound quality, dropped calls and, sometimes, a complete service outage.

Advanced cable networks use PacketCable™ and DOCSIS® technologies, ensuring a crisp, clear sound quality.

Shaw Home Phone is also backed by our 24/7 customer-care guarantee and no-charge service calls.

Switching is easy

We do it all for you! Once you’ve registered for service, our Shaw technician will install everything and get it working … for free. We’ll even contact your current provider and let them know you’re with us now. At no extra cost, you can choose to keep your old phone number and phone sets or start fresh with a new number.

Feel safe

A four-hour battery backup keeps your home phone working during power outages. The ‘Enhanced 911’ feature displays your name and address directly to emergency-response operators at your local municipal emergency-response dispatch centre. Shaw’s home phone service also works with your home-security system.

Stay in touch

Competitive long-distance rates let you do the talking on Shaw Home Phone. Call out-of-town friends and family without breaking the bank – that also means we don’t charge long-distance subscription fees over and above your rate plan.
