Come discover the wide variety of items on sale, ranging from hand-blown glass to upcycled leatherwork, from artwork to exquisite handmade jewelry, and much more. Featured artisans have been selected for their high level of craftsmanship, skill level, aesthetic, and overall creative originality.

As part of the festivities we are running a free kids art activity, guided by local artist Colette Lisoway. Help create a collaborative Canada Day canvas with printing ink and original stamps made by you!

West Side Story
a dynamic re-imagining of Romeo and Juliet in the turbulent streets of 1950's New York.
Created by the dream team of Leonard Bernstein, Arthur Laurents, and Stephen Sondheim, Jerome Robbins' kinetic, explosive choreographic style intrinsically tied the musical to its exhilarating songbook, which includes such gems as "Cool," "America," "I Feel Pretty," and "Tonight."

Connecting communities through Japanese art and culture, this is metro Vancouver’s longest running community arts festival and the largest event of its kind in Canada this year featuring contemporary and traditional Japanese Canadian artists plus Australian koto virtuoso Miyama McQueen-Tokita, Tutchone-Japanese Tlinget-Scottish folk singer Diyet, and the premiere of Chordophone, the viola-looping electronica brainchild of brothers Marcus and James Takizawa.

The expanded festival site will be centered at Oppenheimer Park (400 Block, Powell Street) where festival goers will find the Diamond Stage children’s booth and new activities, including The Koinobori, an interactive installation inspired by Japanese carp streamers.

Every lottery ticket purchased helps our heroes help others. Proceeds support highly trained trauma teams and medical specialists at Vancouver General Hospital, by funding urgently needed medical equipment and supporting programs of the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund including the annual Burn Camp for young burn survivors.
