Job shadowing on Continuum:

Veteran sci-fi actress Amanda Tapping is now directing on the regular, most recently stepping behind the camera to helm a handful of episodes of the Showcase series Continuum. The experience for Tapping was made even more rewarding because she had Continuum actress Luvia Petersen – who is interested in getting into directing – shadow her as part of the relationship the pair have fostered through their involvement in the Women in Film & Television Vancouver mentorship program.

‘Lifeboat’ world premiere:

Vancouver soul singer Warren Dean Flandez has definitely branched out: an accomplished recording artist and musician, he’s now also a producer and entrepreneur, and runs an artist development company with his wife, Kat, called Studio Cloud 30. Whew! After asking Warren to return to the show and perform, little did we know that he’d bless us with the debut of a brand-new track, “Lifeboat,” that is not recorded anywhere and is only able to be enjoyed right here, on The Rush.
