Our employees care

At Shaw, we're not just employees. We're
active community citizens making positive
contributions across the country.

 

Through the Volunteer Recognition Program,
employees who volunteer a minimum of 60 hours
per year can apply for a $200 grant for their
charities.

 

Many employees take part in our Staff Charities
program, donating a portion of their pay directly
to the charity or charities of their choice. Shaw
matches these donations dollar-for-dollar.

Food Banks

Feeding Canadians ... together

Shaw employees are ambassadors in their communities,
rallying to support our national Fill the Food Banks
initiative, a part of our Together Is Amazing campaign.

Our employees partnered with local businesses,
schools and churches from September 20 to
November 15, 2010, and raised 2.6 million pounds
of food to donate to food banks across the country.

In Shaw tradition, our employees demonstrated the
amazing things we can achieve when we work together.

Warmth

Warm it up

Since 2006, Shaw employees across Canada have helped those in need thorough our Season of Warmth employee giving program. Ornaments are purchased and proudly hung from Shaw's lobby trees with all proceeds being matched by Shaw and donated to local charities across Canada in the communities where we operate. To date, the program has generated more than $350,000 in employee donations matched dollar-for-dollar by Shaw.
