Favorite Movie: I have so many, it depends entirely on my mood! But the ones I can watch over and over and still love are classics like The Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Back to the Future!

Favorite Book: The Art of Racing in the Rain

What Makes Medicine Hat Great: I am brand new to the City - going on just 4 months now, after spending the last 20 years in Calgary - and here are my favorite things about MH so far: 1) Hardly any traffic ever and you can get anywhere in under 15 minutes 2) The Character houses here are spectacular - I love walking around the different neighborhoods 3) There is only about one degree of separation. Every you know here knows someone else you know ;)

Favorite Travel Destination: Again, so many! I have travelled a lot and it's one of my favorite things to do. The place I dream about going back to though is Caye Caulker, Belize.

Favorite Activity Outside of Work: Walking at the Kin Coulee off leash dog park with my 3 dogs :)

Favorite Movie: The movie I take pleasure in watching over and over again is Avatar by James Cameron. I can’t wait for the 4 sequels to be released. Avatar 2 is set to release December 2017 – I can’t wait. I was truly drawn to the all over message that Cameron based Avatar on.

Favorite Book: As long as it takes me back to an era of historical wonder between 750 to 1800, in the highlands of Scotland with a handsome Outlander sprinkled with romance. I’m happy! Even more so if there is the added element of fantasy including faeries and dragons … these fictional novels just transport me in time and thoroughly entertain me!

What Makes Medicine Hat great: I love living in such a fun, eclectic community. Friendly inviting people wherever you go and tons of activities offered throughout the year.

Favorite Travel Destination: Each magical city and country I have visited is great! I love the Algarve Portugal, Soto Grande Spain, Seoul Korea, Morocco, England, Scotland, Mexico and the list goes on!

Favorite Activity: Love to grab my camera and explore on a bright sunny winter/summer day. Bike rides and picnics are fun. Hot summer days lazily floating down the river and, of course, anything to do with music and theatre.
