Jonathan Periard

Programming Supervisor

Jonathan was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, ON and graduated with honours as the Valedictorian of the 1995 Television Broadcasting program at Canadore College. He decided to come back to the community to grow a family with high school sweetheart and wife Christina. His children, Nathan and Hailey, have both appeared several times when needed in stories over the years.

Jonathan started with Shaw as a Producer in 1996 and has moved up through the organization to his current role of Programming Supervisor. A three-time provincial award winner, Jonathan continues to highlight all the unique things that makes our community great.

What Makes Sault Ste. Marie Great?: The amazing people! There's a rich culture and history in the area.
When not at work, Jonathan likes to spend time at home with family, camping, four-wheeling (getting out of mud holes) and creating something new in the studio.

Zoe Sanguinetti


After relocating to Sault Ste. Marie  from Shaw TV Calgary in 2015, Zoe has now been producing with Shaw for over six years.  With a background in Live Television working for CityTV’s Breakfast Television in both Toronto and Calgary, along with her experience in commercial production working for Corus Entertainment, Zoe is bringing her big city experience to the Soo.

Zoe started as a volunteer with Shaw TV in Barrie, and after ten years in Alberta, she is excited to bring her career back home to Ontario so she can be closer to family and friends.   

Favorite Movie:  Anything made by Pixar
Favorite Places to Travel:  Maui will always have my heart but Mallorca Spain is a close second!

When not at work, Zoe can be found spending time with her son, hitting up the beach or heading to the slopes in the winter.

Greg Seyler


Born and raised in Wellesley Ontario, Greg moved to Sault Ste. Marie for the first time in 1985. At the age of 14 Greg started volunteering for Maclean-Hunter Cable TV and after a short time acquired his first job in TV as a Master Control Operator. Then in 1994 he attended Confederation College's Broadcasting TV Program. Although Greg has had positions in several different communities, he always loved the Sault and is glad to be back once again working for Shaw and helping produce content for the community.

What makes Sault Ste. Marie great? Friendly people, open roads and community atmosphere.
When he is not working Greg enjoys spending time with his wife Erica, family and friends.

Christian Lemay


Born and raised in Sudbury, Christian moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 2004 and has fallen in love with the community. Since graduating from Confederation College's Broadcasting TV program in 2010, Christian's passion for shooting and editing has taken him across the country and allowed him to produce content for numerous productions houses in Calgary. Having now returned to the Sault, he is excited to produce fresh content and share his interest in music, extreme sports and the arts with the entire community.

Ann Gordanier


Born in Sault Ste Marie, Ann Gordanier attended Carleton and the University of Western Ontario where she was an avid writer for The Gazette. After graduation she worked in London, Ont. for a large catalogue company writing copy and as a kid's wear buyer for their children's line. After moving to Windsor she auditioned for TV Cogeco and landed a stint as a co anchor of their live production of Plugged In. Freelancing for over ten years at TV Cogego, the call of the north prompted her to return to Sault Ste. Marie and can currently be seen covering the arts, health and wellness, senior issues and overall promoting Sault Ste Marie as the greatest place to live.

Favourite Movie: Any action/adventure film.
Favourtie Book: Call of the Wild by Jack London (the ending makes me cry everytime)
Favourite Author: Lindsey Davis
Can't Live Without: Coffee, hour long treks in the woods with my labrador every day, sunshine kayaks and sailing.
What Makes the Sault great?: Fresh air, the bush and lakes and friendly people.

David Carlascio

Freelance Producer

David was born and raised in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. He graduated from Canadore College's Television and Video Production course in 2011. He was the 2011 BEAC National Student Awards winner in the Video Corporate or PSA-Long category for his video "Code Orange". His love for video production continues to grow and he looks forward to his future in the television industry.

Gino Cavallo


A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Gino returned to his hometown in 1980 to begin his broadcasting career after attending the University of Windsor and Fanshawe College. His first broadcasting job was at local radio station CFYN. After 10 years in the local radio business, Gino was hired by the Soo Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League as their Director of Public Relations & Communications. He was the radio play by play voice of the club for 15 years before a career change.

Gino joined Shaw TV as a freelance reporter in 2006 and is currently the television play by play voice of the Greyhounds for Shaw TV. He also contributes sports stories to regular programming.

Gino is actively involved in the community as a volunteer and is a member of several charity golf tournament committees.
