With overwhelming support from people across the country who have chosen to take a stand in the fight against bullying, Shaw has committed to bringing bullying prevention education to over 500 schools through award-winning programs provided by the Canadian Red Cross and WITS. Through the Shaw Kids Investment Program (SKIP) and our community partnerships, we’re committed to keeping kids safe online, in the classroom and on the playground.
In 2017, Shaw, the CFL and Red Cross partnered to bring Respect Camp to youth in two Canadian schools. This immersive educational experience brought two Team Shaw CFL ambassadors, Manny Arceneaux (BC Lions) and Andrew Harris (Winnipeg Blue Bombers), to talk to 800 kids at schools in Surrey and Winnipeg about respect, compassion, and the importance of sticking up for one another.
